Goal: Help children name and recognize the voice in their head.
Conversation Starter:
“Everyone has a voice in their head that talks to them. Sometimes it helps, and sometimes it makes us worry. That voice is your Chatterbug.”
“It’s okay to talk about the Chatterbug. I have one too!”

“Do you ever hear a little voice in your head when you’re scared or upset?”
“Do you ever hear a little voice when you’re happy and having fun?”
“What do you think your Chatterbug might look like?”
“When you feel nervous, what does your Chatterbug say?”
